Very early on Wednesday morning Donald Trump made headlines all around the world when he defeated Hillary Clinton for the presidency of the United States.

His stunning upset victory shocked much of the industrialized world.

Reactions varied from nervousness within Iran and China to a standing ovation from the Russian Parliament upon hearing of Trump’s trouncing of the former secretary of state.

I was waiting to see what Trump would have to say as I have found observation over time is the best indicator. This is a quote from 60 minutes the other day. I believe there is something so big and so bad going on that it simply can’t be revealed. Yet Australia 60 minutes just did a piece on some of these bizarre issues going on.

Here it the Trump quote. I mean come on…………..they’re good people?:

Trump also appeared to back away from his promise to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, over her use of a private email server. Trump made such a promise during the second presidential debate against Clinton during a rhetorical duel that ended with Trump saying if he was president, “you’d be in jail.”

“She did some bad things, I mean she did some bad things,” Trump said, to which Stahl responded, “I know, but a special prosecutor?”

“I don’t want to hurt them, I don’t want to hurt them,” Trump said. “They’re, they’re good people. I don’t want to hurt them.”

    Trump has found himself splashed ass-first right in the middle of the swamp he wants to drain.

    It is a very sobering time for him as reflected in the 60 Minutes interview. I actually liked the interview because his answers, in most part, were appeasing all around for those who really wanted to hear. I have no use for 60 Minutes and I would have liked to have heard a few more shots across their bow from Trump.

    He admitted that he is drenched by lobbyists because right now that is what runs the machine. He is also surrounded by his enemies on both sides from each party. He is also being pressured tremendously to back off of Hillary due to the fact that the exposure of her massive international money laundering foundation would bring down half of Washington.

    Trump does not have to do anything here but appoint his own Attorney General. Clinton is still under investigation for the foundation and her misuse of her state department position.

    Trump does not have to appoint a special prosecutor for this. His split appointing of Bannon and Prevus shows his caution by keeping two channels of advisory from different perspectives.

    If Obama pardons Hillary it will damage his legacy, but he still may do it. If Trump pardons Hillary it will go over like a concrete balloon.

    This next year will be very interesting to watch what happens. The Clinton Foundation will not just go away.

With respect… I really hope the next episode will be back to discussing muscle. I listen to this podcast so I can gain useful information about exercise, bodybuilding, nutrition, etc. I’m already bombarded with politics everywhere else, every day of the week. Podcasts like this are usually a welcome break from that.
